I was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 1 April 1974. My family then moved back to Thailand for a year and then to Korea for another year. We returned to the United States in 1976 and settled in Fresno, California, where I spent the next 17 years of my life.
I attended Malloch Elementary school for kindergarten and first grade. Mrs. Abachi was my 1st grade teacher. I then took the exam and got myself into the MGM (Mentally Gifted Minors) Program and moved to Gibson Elementary school. Ms. Weisener (now Mrs. Baird) was my 2nd grade teacher, and Mr. Allen Macy was my 3rd grade teacher. The MGM program went through some changes, such as a name change to GATE (Gifted And Talented Education) Program. and it acquired its own school, Manchestor, which is where I moved to for the rest of elementary school. Mrs Dixson (Blech, whom I didn't like) was my 4th grade teacher, Ms. Klassen was my 5th grade teacher and Mrs. Markarian was my 6th grade teacher.
It was now a transition in my life from elementary school to Junior High. I chose to attend Edison/Computech Middle School. I had pretty good time there. Then went onto Edison/Computech high school.
I am currently a second year Graduate Student in both the Masters of Engineering Space Systems and the Masters of Engineering Remote Sensing and Geoinformation Systems in the Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Space Sciences Department in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan. I will be done with my programs in May 1998.
I am quite active here at the University. I am currently a Graduate Student Instructor (GSI) for the introduction to computing course, Engineering 101. I had a job in the Space Physics Research Laboratory working on the Timed Doppler Interferometer (TIDI). If you want to know where I am at any given time, just check out my schedule.
When it comes to issues I have my own opinions to share. If you want you can check out my Letters to the Michigan Daily.
I'm currently looking for a job in the space or remote sensing industry. If you are interested in me take a look at my resume. If you want to get in touch with me to interview or hire me, you can e-mail me at adam@inorbit.com
